Originally I was expected for this to be the successor for the very aging RVR/ASX/Outlander Sport globally, but seems still not at this moment. Besides, reports say some safety features including ADAS were still missing in the XForce in order to meet requirements for Global NCAP to enter more markets that have stricter safety requirements. I can imagine if there's an eligble chance for this meeting requirements for Australian NCAP if Mitsubishi decides to replace the ASX in Australia and New Zealand.
I did meet a few of them showcased at the 2023 Gaikindo Indonesian International Auto Show, which it is where its world premiere took place. One of them in there (if the sources were right) has secretly reveal a hidden ADAS installed.
