Maybe this won't be laughed at. Moreover, this is the official license plate number and is regulated by the license plate registration service (in Indonesia called SAMSAT - Sistem Administrasi Manunggal Satu Atap), not the license plate number requested by the owner (Vanity Plates) to SAMSAT.

Also, there's no word "PIG" in
Indonesian vocabularies (Indonesian for "pig" is "babi" (/babi/)) and a lot of Indonesian didn't speak or understand English. Indonesian License Plate Issuer Office (SAMSAT) didn't block English profane words so you can see license plate series ending with "PIG", " ;D OG", "ASS", or even "FCK", just check Table of Series page in this Indonesian License Plate sector.
SAMSAT only blocks Indonesian profane words and organizations who banned by Indonesian government such as "ASU" (another word beside "Anjing" in Indonesian which means Dog in English), S-word, PKI (Partai Komunis Indonesia - Communist Party of Indonesia, banned political party due to coup d'etat attempts in 1965), FPI (Front Pembela Islam - Islamic Defender Front, banned extremist Islamic group due to public disturbances), and HTI (Hizbut Tahrir Indonesia - Indonesian Hizbut Tahrir, banned extremist Islamic group due to separatism threat and extremist political ideology)

Some of letter combinations maybe reserved for someone who request vanity plate with their name in the future but that exclusion letter combinations for vanity plates are depends on each provincial police decision (in East Java case, there's bunch of license plate here which has "AAN" letter combination).
Also, letter combinations resembling a words or abbreviations that considered rude or disappropriate in public space are omitted like "ALM" (Almarhum(ah) - deceased person), "AKP" (Ajun Komisaris Polisi - a police rank equivalent to Captain rank in the military). But again, that's depends on each provincial police decision (in East Java case, there's bunch of license plate here which has "EEK" and "TAI" letter combinations which both means "human manure").
Thank you for pointing this kind of excluded letter combinations topic for license plates, I forgot to explain that in the previous comments. But this list of excluded letter combinations are not exhaustive.
