We were walking with my friend in our neighborhood. It was eight pm. I didn't want to take pictures of cars because it was already dark. And suddenly I saw with the side vision an ordinary Volkswagen driving on the road, but I was really shocked when I saw a yellow plate with digits only! I immediately realized that it could be an Israeli plate! But I couldn't believe it. We ran after the car, but it already far away. We were so happy when we saw him stop by the house. I also asked the owner how he came here, he said: "on wheels" and smiled.

It's cool to see an Israeli car outside of Israel
Almost as cool as seeing a foreign plate in Israel
I once saw a French car parked in front of a supermarket, a car from Finland, and a car from Hungary were regularly parked near my house back in 2012
And in 2013 I saw an Italian car near the Air Force Museum near Be'er Sheva, in the south of Israel

They really should add "outside country of origin" tag here, then it'll be easier to spot Israeli plates abroad

Встречал пару раз израильские номера в Питере.
И один раз увидел, авто с израильскими номерами, на участке трассы между Костромой и Плёсом, авто был серебристый, но ФВ Бора или нет, уже не помню. Может это был и этот авто. Теперь жалею, что не развернулся и не догнал его

Честно говоря, трудно представить авто с израильскими номерами пересекающим границу с любым арабским государством вокруг ))
Если только иорданскую, но это ничего не даст, т.к. дальше Саудиты.
Думаю, водитель недоговаривает. Возможно, паромом, как минимум, до Турции, ну а там уже относительно недалеко, можно и своим ходом )
