Iraqi gallery was earlier opened to let spotters upload as more old plates as possible. Old plates were sentenced to be totally replaced.

I will tell you more. Being in Iraq I met a lot of Iranian cars, but they have a very old fleet, consisting mainly of local models. There is no such diversity like in Iraq. The most modern car I've seen with Iranian plates is Toyota Camry XV40.
