Have you never met an Iraqi one in Bahrain? I supposed they should stop by there at least once in a while. It is not so long distance between countries
•Road distance between Bahrain & Basra are similar if not shorter than Dubai. Badgdad is much further way sure but so is Muscat. •Land borders between Iraq and Kuwait & Saudia are fully open as of May 2023, provided you have a Visa. •If I'm not wrong, direct flights is also available between Bahrain and Iraq so that's not an issue either.
This leads me to believe it's down to two reasons: Visa requirements and simply lack of interest.
Most GCC citizens simply visit Bahrain to shop around and visit their relatives (e.g. My great great Grandma is Kuwaiti and my neighbours have close relatives from KSA and Qatar). Some also come here for...uhh certain type of drinks.
Sure there are Bahrainis with relatives from Iraq but not as much.

Interesting remark. In turn, I was also surprised that I did not meet any plates from Saudi Arabia (and from Bahrain and Qatar, by the way, either) in Iraq, despite the long border between the countries. But Kuwait, Jordan and the UAE can be seen there relatively often.
Now that i have looked it up again, there aren't any direct flights between Bahrain and Iraq so I'm wrong on that one. I still maintain two possibilities: 1) Lack of interest. 2) Political reasons that somehow disallow Iraqi cars from entering Bahrain (half-half on that one since an Iraqi embassy is still operating in Hoora).
Besides that, i actually saw an Iraqi bus in Riyadh during Super Copa.
