>I've spotted another one since then, but it seems to be some older format which isn't supported.
What's the format? I'm curious.
This one, is it a motorcycle series or just an old format?
I'll post more photos and some story later
Ah yeah, those are old Kei Car plates used until the mid-70s. I have a bunch of them spotted myself
Maybe then it will be supported in the gallery once
So, it belongs to a Hungarian man living in Tokyo for a long time. He first got attention in 2010, when he drove it all the way to Budapest, through Siberia! You can see an
article and some photos of the car with a foreign travel plate.
7 years later, the author met the owner again in
Tokyo. Here, he was already preparing for the following Budapest-Bamako rally. This time, the original plates stayed on, probably because the car was shipped to Budapest. (In the photo gallery you can see a parking lot, where he has two 360s. He already had one as an oldtimer when he bought this one, specially for the trip, but since it was too difficult to find parts for them, he had to make the first one a parts donor)
These are the other photos I took at the rally's start. Interesting to see a Trabant next to it, another iconic 2-stroke car - except this one from the end of the production already has a 4-stroke engine.

Also found a photo from the finish of the rally in Gambia.
