Как-то у них там странно. Камбоджа леворукая, пакистан праворукий, индия тоже. Вьетнам вроде леворукий.

I think it's a result of the colonization in the past. If I set Thailand as the main, western side was a colony of England, while eastern side was France. You can guess why there are different in driving positions.

As far as I know, it's not quite like that. Thailand was never a colony. It remained the only country in Southeast Asia that was not invaded by European colonial powers. Thais are proud that their country avoided colonization, mainly due to wise diplomacy and concessions made by rulers. Although Thailand was not a colony, in the 19th and early 20th centuries it was heavily influenced by European powers, especially Great Britain and France, who wanted to use it as a buffer state between their colonies.

В Азии праворукие (или левосторонние) государства:
Пакистан, Индия, Бангладеш, Непал, Бутан, Шри-Ланка, Мальдивы, Малайзия, Сингапур, Бруней (бывшие британские колонии);
Таиланд (ранее Сиам) - изначально ввёл левостороннее движение;
Индонезия - бывшая нидерландская колония, также изначально ввела левостороннее движение;
Восточный Тимор - в период португальского колониализма был правосторонним, сейчас левосторонний из-за соседства с Индонезией.
Япония - левостороннее движение сложилось исторически.
Мьянма ранее было левосторонней, с 1970 года - правосторонняя.
Все бывшие французские колонии в Индокитае (Вьетнам, Камбоджа и Лаос) - правосторонние.
