Absolutely! And although I stayed on the main A2 autobahn during my drive through Saxony-Anhalt, it felt like it was just distribution centres/warehouses, flatness, and not much else going for it
At least Brandenburg is more foresty!

The A2 is absolutely boring. The south of Saxony-Anhalt is nicer, with vineyards and steep river valleys

All the more reason for me to take a detour when driving through Germany, and go off the beaten path!
