Dacia Sandero

3rd gen Stepway (BJI), 2020–

License plate of Montenegro, Cars

Jacko & I went on a short holiday to Montenegro and this was our hire car. We were supposed to have hired a Hyundai i20, but instead we received this, a 2024 Dacia Sandero "STAPWAY", as was written on the booking. It was honestly the perfect car for us in Montenegro.

We stayed in Tivat, and we also got to explore Kotor, Herceg Novi, Petrovac, Jaz Beach, the Serpentine up to Cetinje, and Budva. We also intended to stop at Sveti Stefan, however all the parking was full there with long queues, so we drove through instead.

I went to the country with no expectations, and we were thoroughly blown away by everything. The cars, the plates, the views, the people, & the food were all overwhelming and amazing.
I would highly encourage anyone to consider visiting this beautiful country!

This photo was taken atop the mountain road overlooking Budva, where we definitely needed a small rest after a long day driving up the Serpentine, adoring the views down to Kotor & Tivat, before heading to Cetinje on the rural roads and back down towards Budva.

You are a lucky person to come from such a wonderful and beautiful country! The people of Montenegro were super kind and warm-hearted. Our guesthouse landlady was so friendly and kind, spoke great English too (she has lived in the UK for 35 years, and runs a small cafe in the middle of London).

I will 100% be coming back to Montenegro, as I presume will Xeins :D And hopefully, we can also meet up next time around!

To keep on topic regarding this car...

GREAT NEWS! I've found a photo of our rental at the Port of Risan, overlooking the magnificent Bay of Kotor!
