If you look closely, you can see that the car has four wheels, but the rear wheels are so close together that, according to the law, it is not a car but a trike. As a result, it is not covered by the Taxi Act (taxiwet) either. Since the end of 2011, municipalities have been able to lay down additional rules for taxi companies; they can impose additional quality requirements.
