LilEuro aixam Nice. I thought it was a trolleybus at first Understandable. Will probably have a ride with it some time, hopefully
Lucky. Here in Tromsø we got a new bus company and new buses a few weeks ago..... but the buses were the exact same type as the ones we had with the old bus company, just a bit newer. I'm a bit disappointed

Nice! In my city we have just received 4 buses like this (Aarhus Sporveje fleet numbers 183-184-185-186) They are the first electric Volvo buses in Denmark.
For some really weird reason Volvo issued a press release shortly after the order for these 4 buses was placed, saying that due to problems keeping up with production, they had decided to stop selling buses in Denmark!
No other countries affected, just Denmark, the neighbouring country, where Volvo had always been really strong. So for a while, it looked like these 4 buses would be the only ones of the type ever delivered to Denmark.
But about two weeks ago, Volvo issued a new statement saying that they'd be happy to continue delivering to Aarhus Sporveje. Really weird, they still don't seem to be interested in selling to any other customers in Denmark!
But this is a crucial time that may well define the bus situation in years to come. Aarhus Sporveje have announced, that no more diesel buses will be purchased. The last one was a sole Solaris Urbino 15 delivered in july to replace a similar one (fleet number 701) that was destroyed in a fire.
No doubt, many other cities around Europe will be switching to green energy in the near future.
PS: I haven't tried the new buses yet, but hope to do so in the near future. Reports by a fellow bus enthusiast say, that they are REALLY good with an interior layout far superior to the Solaris Urbinos currently dominating here.
Cool! Here in Torrejón de Ardoz we have three Volvo 7900 (ALSA fleet numbers 3432, 3633 and 3663) and they sound like diesel when in the bus says "hybrid" So that is clickbait in real life.

We have some of those in Drammen too! They're dead silent when they've stopped to pick up passengers, but as soon as they are starting to drive off the diesel engine comes to life. So they are not 100% electric like this bus for instance.
