Really surprised to hear it wasn't sold in Norway. Strange that there are such big differences even between Scandinavian countries. In Denmark, this was a very common car (but then again, all tiny cars tend to do well here)

City cars were for a long time very rare, in the last years Fiat 500, Kia Picanto, VW up and Toyota Aygo have sold in decent numbers however. But in no way revolutionised the car market.

Out of the mk1 Twingos rivals I actually wonder if the most common one is the Ford Ka and the Mini, which in no way are cars that has made sales records either. For the record, VW Lupo was officially sold for only a year or two, the Seat Arosa was sold for several years but I have literally seen two in my life on Norwegian plates. Smart ForFour, Opel Adam and Citroen C2 were all sold here, but I think I can count on one hand how many of each I've seen..
