I have already reported it to admin But despite this, it will always be a Volvo...
Volvo has not assembled a single bus, scania has not built a single intercity bus.
It's too bad you don't do justice to your unique bus factories.
After all, it is they who create a unique type of bus, and not some kind of Volvo...
I really have no problem doing justice as you call it, to this or any other bus factories. I grew up with and admires buses like Repstad, VBK, Arna, etc. I'm in fact very proud that we have had those factories.
But in my eyes the assembler of the chassis makes the ground work. So, in this case it's not right to name the bus Repstad, although they built the body. Without chassis, engine, gearbox, etc there would be no bus. It's no more complicated than that.
The bus is actually registered as a Volvo, not a Repstad. That's an important part of my conclusion.
But you are of course free to disagree, if you like!
As I see it this is the same as if you change the body on a frame vehicle. The frame with engine, gearbox, etc will name the car. Camping cars are good examples...
