Yes, that's true. Owners of electric cars can choose to change into another combination if they don't want the car to look "electric" Anyhow, this gives some challenges in the traffic, as electric cars have some benefits compared to ordinary cars.

I still don't think I've seen a single Polestar in Denmark, although I'm sure they exist.

According to Nrpla.de there are currently 1882 Polestar registered in Denmark, some may be doubles since that site tends to be slightly inaccurate, but the total number is certainly less than 2000.

Most of them are probably registered in rich enclaves like northern Zeeland and north + south of Aarhus in the Risskov and Skåde districts. The vehicles I spot are mostly based in western Aarhus, Skanderborg, Stilling, Hørning and Horsens areas.
