Welcome, O2MO :) :thumbs up:
I think it's legal to drive regularly with veteran cars, but the insurance premium will be higher. And finally; who wants to drive their old car in the salty mud mid winter? Not many, I think.. !;)

With veteran cars as in any car over 30 years old you are obviously allowed to do whatever you want with, but in this case I assume it is a registered as ''Bevaringsverdig'', so a museum/historical car which is meant to be preserved in it's original condition, so there are several restrictions such as you are not allowed to do major modifications and the car has a restricted amount of km's you are allowed to drive per year, additionally depending on the year and rarity of the car you might need a permit if you were to export the car as there are some laws that restrict selling historical objects out of Norway.
In turn you only need to do inspections every 5th year and cars over 50 years old do not need inspections which is the main reason people register these cars as bevaringsverdig.

Ah I see. I just learned now that when the car is 50 years old you can't just do whatever you want with it and being legal. I guess I was wrong :D :(
