1.6 dCi 130 2016 manual
Couldn't believe this was the first in the gallery, such great looking cars too, shame they weren't more popular. #CarsOf2016
Maybe it's just... The name? For ever is just a bad reputation, it's said. My experience with French cars is they are great cars when new, like most cars. But when years goes on small annoying bugs often comes. Unfortunately this happens more with French cars than cars from other countries. Of course there are ups and downs, but all in all I think there is a red line through it, and the 2nd hand prices mirrors this.
When that said, I really admires those who takes care of old French cars, and I happily drives a couple of hours to watch them on a French car day, like in Burud 2018. It was one of the hottest days in Norway ever I think, but it didn't stop me going nearly 125 km for having a look
We have a -04 Clio, same owner since new. Sometimes small bugs (Recently it was in the repair for quite a long time because the airbag warning light was on. Once it honket by itself, it was terrible. And same with wipers) but it's a good car.
When I was a truck driver some years ago, I sometimes drove this thing: http://platesmania.com/no/nomer18523089 In many ways it was a great truck, like when it came to comfort, reliability on engine, drive train, etc. But the electronic in the dashboard was very often a source to irritation and despair...
I actually talked with a truck driver that had requested to get a Renault T because he thought it had the best floor configuration in the cab of the trucks on the market, however the leadership refused as they had only maintenance deals with Scania and Volvo and as this was when the T was quite new they couldn't find a second hand model that was within their budget.
Unsure about reliability nowadays however as Volvo and Renault trucks share a lot of components..
