Beautiful! Can you imagine a young person in 2023 buying a new car and then keeping it for 40 years? Completely unthinkable, right?

But I believe, in the long run, we're going to have to start moving back in that direction. We either cut down on our lifestyle comforts OR we keep our things for far longer than we do today: smart phones, cars, clothes, household electronics etc.

I would not be surprised if things go in that direction after a while. I guess people from different times I have different mindsets about the value of their commodities. I actually saw a young woman get out of a pre-facelift Rekord E some months ago, not really the type of person you'd expect to drive one.

This is really amazing :thumbs up: but in some cases the car can have been taken over by the family if the original owner have passed away. That happened when mum passed away in 2014. The car was sold further by me in 2017, but if I still kept it, it would look like there was one owner since 2000, which is pretty incredible. Anyhow, the car seems to be very well taken care of, and that's the most important
