406 is without doubt the most common 90's French car here (excluding vans) and I still see them at a daily basis, but no doubt that won't last for a long time. I was at an accident training last autumn and they cut up a 406 for training purposes. The 406 was an incredible success for Peugeot here which is surely the reason why they still are surprisingly common here, but no doubt it's very reliable too. The mk1 Laguna in comparison, while not exactly as popular, still sold well, my parents had one around 2010 and they were everywhere then, now I'm lucky if I see one per month..
