In Norway when registering a car in the country you pay a deposit of about 300€ that you get back if you scrap the car.
So in some cases if the car is completely broken the most economical thing to do is to sell what is left of parts and scrap it for 300€.  :)

In theory yes. Even thought the workers there might get annoyed because then they have nothing left from the car to sell except a little bit of metal.  :rofl:
