This is one of the school busses that serve all the rural schools in the Taranaki region.
I attended Coastal Taranaki School, the largest of them, when I was little, and I distinctly remember going on the busses. Catching up with friends, chatting, annoying/building camaraderie with the driver.
I imagine the American carspotters will share similar sentiments.

Some Russians can understand you. )) I annoyed the driver most of all with my being late at the right time. )) Only we had not full-size buses, but ordinary Japanese minibuses.
