...but it looks like it. Reichsautobahn, which is now a part of motorways M4 and M18, was wider than this road.

As far as I know, there was an abandoned and non-completed road known as "Olimpijka", somewhere between Warsaw and Łódź. Its remnants were demolished in 2010, before the stretch of motorway A2 was constructed.
