The front plate looks like it was roadkill at some point (fell off the car, got run over by traffic), and retrieved later.

No flash, plate looked like it had went through a lot during it's life  :D

Could be deliberate damage to make it unreadable for cameras, it looks too smooth for a roadkill...

If you look on the car’s photos on Autogespot it got worse through the years, so maybe just very heavy wear? Don’t know but here are some photos if you want to see for yourself.

Hi mate!
It could be a reason, but have a look at any plate on any truck, which has huge mileage - plates are always readable (don't count mosquitoes  :D ) and i'm sure that they are not replaced every 100k.
My opinion - this particular plate has been changed with purpose.

I have heard that plates made by Utal (who has their headquarters near Poznań) wear out faster than other plates so that might be the reason.
