As Belugin mentioned; the "oldtimer" name is slightly misleading here. Yellow plates. It has to be:
A.An Antique
B.Part of a museum
C.Part of a collection
Therefore, you can say that you're collecting specialty vehicles, and have a Fire engine, an ambulance, and say a Police car... That makes it a collection.
To be considered an antique the car has to be atleast 30 years old, not be produced for 15 years (model), and have at least 75% original parts, however that can also be re-considered case by case, and cars considered special in regards to automotive history. The laws for these plates are actually rather complicated

Myślisz że mógłbym (jak osiągnie 30 lat) zarejestrować na żółtych mojego Citroën'a ZX-a z 1996 r., który pięknie jeździ, ale którego się coraz częściej czepiają przy kontroli technicznej (tutaj we Francji jest co 2 lata), i boję się po prostu że następnej kontroli z powodu norm emisji (w 2023 r.) już nie przejdzie, a szkoda by mi było go oddać na złom bo to super auto, nigdy nie miałem z nim problemu... Z drugiej strony, musiałbym poczekać 3 lata aż do momentu gdy osiągnąłby 30 lat... Części ma oryginalne, jedynie farba mocno zeszła z powodu słońca. Bo na normalnych raczej go w Polsce nie zarejestruję bo za stary i Polska chyba wprowadziła przepisy ograniczające import starych aut.

Nie znam tak dokładnie praw, generalnie rzecz biorąć najlepiej jest skontaktować się z nadzorcą zabytków/rzecoznawcą, który pomoże ci tez w wypełnieniu białej karty jak będziesz próbował wpisać samochód do wojewódzkiej ewidencji zabytków. Ja mam Mini z '81 które jest na białych, przegląd przechodzi bez problemu, spalin w Polsce nie sprawdzają, nie mam katalizatora (w dokumentach też tak jest) i przechodzi mi generalnie bez problemu auto.

Myślę że nawet jak nie ma 30 lat to możesz się starać o żółte, ale mówię, ja ekspertem nie jestem.
