If you want use it for abroad trips or you think about selling it abroad in future, it doesn't make any sense. Cars registered as a classics cannot leave the country without heritage conservator's approval. (theoretically).

That's why I said theoretically. In fact lot of my mates cruised around EU without any problems. And a while ago I realised I had out-of-date info. Finally someone cleared that mess and now you can travel abroad freely if you car has no more than 50 years and it's worth not more than 32.000 zł (~7640 €). Vagueness of polish law often get me mad...

Eventually by helicopter, I think.  :D

Well, in the worst scenario you can get two-year-long holidays at one of state-owned resorts for that.

Not anymore, rail infrastructure operator recently raised usage fees once again, so government decided to stop financing abroad holidays.  :(
