JOtter The only version of the Palio that wasn't sold in Italy. It wasn't sold in NL either, although I do remember some Sienas on Dutch scrapyards.
I don't know if it was on sale here to be honest, but definitly it's almost unseen here nowadays, that's why I was especially keen on catching this plate (+ the fact it was a flag plate)

Probably not, the Siena was supposed to be a cheap car made for upcoming countries (like Brazil and Argentina, and it was also sold in Eastern-Europe.)
Weird fact: It was also sold as Pyeonghwa Hwiparam I in North-Korea.

Pyeongwha cars are also sold in CZ so there's a slight chance we'll see some here

I think it was sold only in a few countries of East Europe (not in Hungary or Slovakia), and it was successful only in Poland...

I don't know which Pyeonghwas you mean, but the brand sells rebadged cars from brands like FIAT, Brilliance and Huanghai in North-Korea. I don't think Pyeonghwa cars will ever be exported from North-Korea to another country.

It's only in one small sentence each, so I may quote as you don't have to search then: "In kleiner Stückzahl wird das Modell aber auch in der Volkrepublik China und in der Tschechischen Republik angeboten" (Pyeonghwa Ppeokkugi)
"In Europa ist Pyeonghwa seit 2007 vertreten. (....) Ein tschechischer Automobilhändler, welcher eine geringe Stückzahl ausgesuchter Modelle in sein Land importiert" (Pyeonghwa)
Rhineland-Palatinate "In kleiner Stückzahl wird das Modell aber auch in der Volkrepublik China und in der Tschechischen Republik angeboten" (Pyeonghwa Ppeokkugi)
That's some new information!
I looked up some more information about this, but information is scarce, so I don't think many 'Pyeonghwas' will be on the road in the Czech Republic. And I can't really find the reason to import the Ppeokkugi. All the parts come from Italy and Brazil, they send it to North-Korea as CKD-kit to put it together there and then send it to the Czech Republic? I don't think they've sold many of them. (And what they are/were selling is actually just a new-built old FIAT Dóblo)

I wouldn't buy a North Korean car either. I think they sell the Ppeokkugi (what a name!!?) 4WD which is a rebadged Land Cruiser, but it still makes no sense.
