Ah well I guess the name will be changed... I hate it when the same vehicle is called different names - it makes it VERY difficult in some galleries like Palestine where there are imports from all around the world - I have a lot of problems with Kia as many seem to be direct imports from South Korea which have different names than the European versions imported  %)  :D

From a marketing standpoint certain names may resonate differently with different cultures, so they will change names to make cars more appealing. They can also change names due to existing cars in the region to avoid confusion in that specific market. Also certain car names could translate poorly and be possibly offensive to certain cultures.
I`m also hate this))

Yes, i recall that in Greece, the SEAT Malaga (a sort of sedan relative to the MK1 Ibiza) had to be called the SEAT Gredos, because Malaga is similar to the Greek word "malaka", which... i'll leave you to find out xD
