Plates with Kosovo codes officially invalid since September 20 in Kosovo, but it isn't quite clear what will happen with them next.
Plates with codes outside Kosovo that enter the same area are required to get provisional plates (xxx-TP-xxx), while "KS" plates are no longer valid at all. Their issuance ceased last year.

This is how a typical new temporary plate looks like. Aesthetically...I can't even consider it a license plate at all.

Well it might be just provocation...until recently Serbian plates with non-Kosovo codes used to travel just fine

Update: starting today, white stickers are implemented again but with a few changes: on Serbian plates only the SRB letters from the euroband are covered as well as the coat of arms and the code in Cyrillic; on Kosovo plates the entire euroband is covered together with the coat of arms.

And here's the first example of such plate with stickers which I spotted today in Niš!
