Yeah, we spent 3 days in this region, we were a group of 15 students who wanted to spot Northern lights! Unfortunately, as the weather was bad, we didn't see them...

The village of Lovozero, known as "the Sami capital of Russia", is located behind of the Khibiny Mountains.

It's possible to go to Murmansk via Kikenes nowadays?
Like fligh to Kirkenes and then take a taxi to the border?

As far as I know, it's possible, but Norwegians look at the age of car and motor volume. They introduced serious limitations for Russians entering Norway.
