I believe this is a special Royal Family plate, which may or may not be supported by the gallery.

It is technically a pre-1972 series plate, A1-A30 were reserved for the Royal Family, but as these plates have been issued past 1972 I decided it would fit the Vanity format. I thought someone might decide they want to delete it, but having likes from several senior administrators has helped give me confidence!

It's true. Royal Family plates were kept from total replacement in 1972-1974. So, they may be considered as modern personalized plates.

Maybe similarly to the Belgian 11 and 38 plates (don't know if these are road legal or just for museum display)
