Is it US-Spec ? These are sold and quite popular in SK.

I think it depends on if it's a hybrid or not, hybrids are sold in Europe but the others aren't. I just assumed it was US-Spec cause they have the reflectors and I barely see them, and all that I've seen in Sweden have been US-Spec :)

True but I think they all have side markers even EU specs. Maybe someone can confirm if it is or not. :)

Yes, yes. Exactly correct. I would say that US imports are quite unpopular in Slovakia except for true all-American muscle cars and pickups, which would make this a highly unlikely model to be imported as they are sold locally. Furthermore, all Highlanders have orange side markers in the headlights regardless of their market of origin due to cost-cutting. The only difference is that they do not have light bulbs inside for European models. And lastly, VIN for this particular car doesn't work on an American VIN lookup site, so it is definitely European.

Also the last clue would be the license plate which advertises the company Arval, which is a Slovak company offering vehicle leasing services

No worries. I am just happy that I could share my obscure and useless car knowledge =)

Yes, Arval also exists in Hungary, they're always leasing cars sold in local dealerships, so nothing foreign-spec :)
