It's common to find errors on our plates. The printer ribbon is usually poor quality. I'm always surprised there are less mistakes like this seen on the road, having made plates for 6 years, and "fixed" the printing errors manually with a black pen, I can't believe we still have such poor quality plates in the UK!

First I thought that the missing part was removed when they added that white screw, but the edge is straight, so it's more likely a manufacturing error indeed
