That's the kind of livery I love to see In a few, select countries there's a long tradition for highly individual liveries, making each company stand out, easily recognizable on the road. Sure, it's an added cost, but once finished, a good looking truck will provide free advertising and impove brand recognition wherever it goes.
The "few select countries" consist of, as far as I'm aware: the UK, Denmark, Germany, Belgium, the Netherlands and to some degree also France.
I don't think it's a coincidence that scale model manufactures also tend to concentrate on these countries!
I thought you'd like this truck The liveries of many trucks in the UK are very recognisable. I guess it's one reason why we now have so many truck-spotters in this country, especially given that some companies have gone down the route of giving their trucks names like Eddie Stobart do with their vehicles. Makes the roads just that little bit more colourful. Of course, you're going to see plain-white tractor units doing contracted work. My brother runs a haulage firm, which operates about 5 trucks (mostly TGX Euro 5/6 and Actros MP4 models, though he's looking at updating his fleet to all new DAF XF 510's). The trucks do contract work mostly, and due to the small size of the company, he hasn't given his trucks full liveries yet.
