Since my Polo will take a while to deal with insurance and I have travelling to do I bought this Ibiza to replace her for a bit. He's going to Spain in a bit

These Ibiza TDi's are very dependable, great choice! Hope the check engine light hasn't come on already :D

My old Ibiza wasn't a TDi, it was a a petrol 1.2 12v, 3-cyl model in either 'S' or 'Stella' trim (Yours being the SE, means you have front fog lamps, lucky you!!! :D ). Actually I have no idea which trim-level it was, as since it had roughly 10 owners prior to me owning the car, stuff became very vague to work out, my car probably didn't even originally come with the 16" wheels it had, but I'm glad it had those. My brother owned an Ibiza FR TDi, same engine as yours, but uprated to 130hp at the factory (he mapped it to roughly 160hp though), that FR was quick!

So mine was mint until a year ago when someone spray painted the entire dashboard... terribly. It's remapped but it still feels slow compared to my Octavia... maybe my Octavia is just incredibly quick and I'm used to it

Sometimes you have to think, what goes through people's heads to think that painting the glovebox and dashboard, using a spray can from Halfords, is a good idea.... :D Hopefully there's a way to get rid of that paint, if not, parts for these Ibizas are everywhere in scrapyards. The only thing I 'tuned' on my car were the rear lights, where I managed to get a set of 'facelift' examples. I did want 'FR/Cupra' ones, but finding those for a decent price was hard. Hope you'll enjoy the car though, they're at least quite nippy round corners!
