Thanks! I always wanted a Durango, and I was looking for a temporary replacement American car while the Mustang is off the road (essential repairs) and I found it cheap on Ebay. It needed some work which I am slowly doing myself to make it nice again, and now I am falling in love with it, so I guess I will be keeping it longer than planned :D

I washed it on Sunday to take some more photos this week for you, but already it is raining and I have driven it +100 km in heavy rain, so it will not be very clean for the photos... I will sort them out this week for you :) Thanks for your interest :drink:

Here you go :) I don't think there will be many double spots because I do not think I will drive it out of my region much as it is very thirsty on petrol! Mostly I am using it as a working vehicle because it is tough and has lots of storage space.

Inside with real American build "quality" :D I even have a Cassette Tape player! (But I don't have any tapes!)

It has just gone over 100,000 miles / 160,000 km 2 weeks ago

Really comfortable seats!

With roof supplied Air Conditioning!

Part 2 because only 5 images allowed at a time!

It has 7 seats but because I am using it for deliveries to vulnerable people during Covid-19 period, it is just full of boxes now...

5.2 Magnum V8

Two side-exit exhausts mean you can really hear the V8 =) I might do a video at some point...

That's all for now :)

Thanks :drink: and you are welcome :) It certainly does turn heads - but that might be because of the noise :D

Who in his sane mind thought "hell yeah, that's what I'll use driving around Guernsey!" :D interesting backstory!

I know right! :D When I was in Guernsey and Jersey in 2014/2015 I was surprised about how many American cars I saw, considering how small the roads are and how bad the visibility is (too many trees and high fences). It is a strange situation but you can find quite a few on those islands!

Super cool car! These are pretty rare in the US now, with most have being rusted out or in the junkyards

I really miss it, it was so much better to drive than I expected (and much better than newer Dodge SUV's I have driven when in the US). It's a shame that the end of my ownership with it came about when the suspension collapsed, taking the wheel, steering and suspension system with it. I simply could not afford to import all the parts from the US to fix it :( But... the man I sold it to brings over parts commercially and he has already fixed it up and sold it to a new owner so it is somewhere still alive today at least!

Maybe you will see it again! Looks like it's been fitted with quieter exhausts now and a lot of new gear added. It's one of the cars I miss the most, I wasn't ready to sell it but unfortunately it was sell or scrap it, so I sold it to my friend who got it back in working condition and sold it to a friend of his who apparently is still enjoying it (I was only talking about it 2 weeks ago with him so funny you spotted it!). I hope I don't see it again because it will hurt but it's great to see photos to know it's being loved by someone! That said I was running this during Covid when petrol dropped to £1 a litre around here, luckily I wasn't running it when it peaked £2 a litre couple of years later, never could have afforded it :D
