I was gonna say it probably was originally sold through JCT600 in Leeds (now moved to Bradford along with Maserati as part of some dealer shake-up), given the Yorkshire reg, and then somehow made its way to Surrey, and now it's back in Yorkshire again 
I'm fairly sure I've seen this Elise driving around York a fair bit more recently too!
