Do you think there will eventually be a Green Band plate added onto the GB Platesmania. Also, all the EV plates I've seen have been on Tesla's but today I photographed one on an Audi e-tron. :thumbs up:

Well it's an official addition to UK plates from the government, so I'd like to see it implemented here soon :) Surprisingly, I've not seen many of these plates at all, just this and a Kia e-Niro. I guess not many car dealers are offering these plates around me just yet, but that will change I reckon!

I do think the implementation of these plates is a little haphazard and a bit of an afterthought though. Would've been far more interesting to perhaps have new region-identifier codes for electric vehicles, such as having ZA-ZZ as the suffix (Z for Zero Emission), though I guess later on when electric vehicles become more prevelant, it would be impractical as combinations would soon run out.

I also saw a VW ID.3 with the new green band, but i was driving at the
time so no photo :(
I think platesmania should add the new green band.

Hopefully you'll get to spot one of these green band plates eventually! :D

Is #GreenBand what we are using for these plates for now? I've added that # to my uploads just now but I think we could consider choosing a confirmed # for these plates until they are added to Platesmania? Other galleries have had their electric and hybrid plates added almost immediately so we are already falling behind on that part!

I guess we can use that hashtag for distinguishing these EV plates, until we finally have them implemented on the site, unless we can think of a more suitable hashtag of course, I don't mind at all :) I totally agree with you though, and whilst we're at it, it would be nice to have the 'SCO' and 'CYM' bands added, which the government recognise as official national identifiers too.

I agree about ENG / SCO / CYM, although I have visions of a very long drop-down menu which would be good to avoid, it's already long enough with white, yellow, long, square, plain, euro options for all variations as it is! I don't know if a "band option" could be selected which would then allow a further drop down menu or preview (like in the Slovenia gallery) to choose which band the plate is using...
