Usually expensively. In most cases, they simply take a LHD dashboard and move the parts over, extend the wiring etc. It's not easy and it's very time consuming to do so works out to be expensive (and in some countries, you need the dealer to do it with a certificate to show its to spec).

In the case of cars that are only in RHD or LHD, they have to make a new dash by cutting and moulding the pieces together. There's an Aussie channel on YouTube that shows how they do this to US import vehicles
