Yeah that always amuses me actually
It's almost as if GM couldn't be bothered to create a whole new grille for Opel/Vauxhalls of this era, unlike their older cars which had the 'V'-shaped grille for Vauxhalls, and a much less interesting alternative to Opels.

I honestly think there are gangs of thieves out there who's sole purpose is to steal badges from Insignias, then try sell them on to people who have had their Insignia badges stolen. From a business perspective, it's smart, but also a huge inconvinience to the victims of Vauxhall badge theft.
