Thanks! (And I finally got to upload the front of this car now the site updates have finished :D ). I try to find cars which are not sold in the UK, or are very rare for different reasons (old, unpopular and exotic) and we are very lucky in the UK that our import regulations allow us to import pretty much anything that passes the safety inspections :)
this particular event I am uploading now was the last event I took my Mustang to before I had to take it off the road - the problem of owning a car not sold here is trying to source parts when it needs them! :(

Oh, nice! Didn't know that! Sad that you had to take the Mustang off the road. Is it to be permanently retired, or just temporary?

It's looking semi-permanent unless I can find the parts I need. Ideally I need to find someone I trust in America to go to a scrap yard and look for a couple of bits since they seem impossible to source new (and when they do hit ebay they are either gone before I can buy them or find someone to have them sent to in America as many sellers are scared to ship abroad, it's a scary world over here, dragons and everything :D ). As for the top of the engine I haven't yet decided if I should spend the money on replacement parts which are really expensive plus the cost of fitting it (it's beyond my skill set) or just buy a replacement engine, which I don't want to do as the rest of the engine is solid and has no issues at all, but cost wise it might be cheaper... So ultimately I don't know how long it's going to be stuck on my mother's driveway, but I do know that I miss it. I only bought the Dodge as a V8 replacement while it was off the road but now the Dodge has gone I have no V8 to brighten my day... Fortunately the Subaru still puts a smile on my face =)

Man, that's so sad. I wish you a lot of luck finding the parts you need! Glad you still have the Subaru to brighten your day! :D

Thanks! I'm trying hard to stay positive about the Mustang and FRP but it does get me down. I love the Subaru but I do feel bad using it like a truck since I said goodbye to the Dodge. Over 350lbs of 7ft long wood hanging out over the back for a +1 hour drive :-X I've never seen the rear wheel arches cover the side of the wheels before on the STI! No one can say I don't get the most from my cars :D

Wow! I've never seen a WRX used like this, but hey, it's a Subaru! These cars are strong! :D =)

Yes yes, I'm never afraid to use my cars for tasks they were not designed for (had the Mustang in similar situations!) but it helps when you know the car is tough as well! =) I wouldn't be so harsh on the FRP, it's impossible to get replacement parts for now!
