Has this Passat been given a new diplomatic registration? I spotted what appears to be the same Passat with different plates, same alloys, colour and dealer sticker on the rear window. V6 4MOTION Passats are not common at all in the UK!

Don't think you allow to have a diplomatic plate, same story as a trade plate

I have seen diplomatic cars change plates before and I wonder if it's a change of owner, perhaps the diplomatic registration is related to the person rather than the car/embassy. Perhaps the previous owner returned home and sold it to someone new, or they just sold it to another embassy employee when they got a new car...?
