Not sure about this fire engine but Malaysia often exports ex-British trucks due to being a RHD country

Like Junglecarz said, quite a lot of UK trucks get exported to Malaysia and sometimes their plates are still attached to the truck. For example: https://tngtruck.com/trucks/volvo-fh4-2/ . So some owners still have the plates on their trucks. There's a high chance the UK plate actually belongs to the truck but we can never quite know!
