Annoyingly, it was too dark for me to get a photo in, but there is someone around the Beverley/Castle Hill area driving around in a green Citroen AX. You just reminded me of it, really hope I'll see that car again in the daytime sometime - never seen an AX before, especially not in rush-hour traffic!

Oooooh, an old family friend of ours had a green P-reg AX in the early-mid 2000's. Can't remember the full reg, but it was a Hull one (P***PKH). Probably one of the cars I rode around in the most during my childhood. We did a few road-trips in it, including a trip to Kent. Also used to call it the 'tin can' due to the sheer amount of exposed paintwork on the interior!

Hope you can catch that AX one day!

I just remembered the plate, P397 PKH, so a 1996 Citroen AX 0.9 " Dimension". Last MOT it passed was in January 2010, so I presume it was scrapped not long after. Shame, but not unexpected.
