This car was originally imported new into Mozambique. When the country gained independance the owner fled with the car to Portugal where it sat for roughly 25 years, after which it was sold to a collector in the UK, and eventually made its way to the US.

It's RHD because even though Mozambique was a Portuguese colony at the time, they still drove on the left to match their African neighbors.
