As a fellow Maestro owner I am in the same group as the owner of this car too, it's really sad to see and about the 3rd or 4th Maestro in the last 18 months to be stolen and used for joy riding, sadly only two of them seem to have been recoverable after Thinking I should increase the security on mine now...

It really is a shame. This was one of the earliest and probably lowest mileage Maestro in existence. To see it trashed like this is beyond heartbreaking.
Mine's on the other end of the mileage spectrum at nearly 184,000 miles and has been rust treated (badly) on every panel, but Maestros are simply not seen every day, in fact other than mine around here I've only seen them at car shows, I haven't seen one driving around in over a decade, so it's senseless violence to destroy these, they need to be preserved for future history. I hope they will catch whoever did this but they probably won't get into trouble for it, a ceremonial slap on the hand and off they go to do it again

Even worse is the guy who nicked it, has been known to do it before, and is a known drug user too. Yet has never been arrested
