Yeah, I 100% agree. A friend in London sent me a picture of a BMW's plate reading "H17XER". They really be letting any letter combination on plates these days...

Goodness knows. Unless the plate is supposed to represent something else (which I doubt) then I genuinely have no idea.

Okay yeah I was just looking it up and found this, so this guy's plate technically shouldn't exist. I guess for whatever reason he hasn't been seen yet. I can't think he hasn't been in trouble with the police though, and to just leave it seen right in the city centre is a very bold move. I should also mention there was some guy in front of me taking pictures of this car, and I'm not sure why (another guy was there as well). Part of me did think they were working with like the DVLA or something but they weren't in any formal attire. It's a strange situation this car is in, as this is clearly a banned plate however it's been on the car for over 2 years. Has nobody noticed yet?

I‘m getting annoyed with the DVLA, they keep banning the funny plates, and letting the ACTUALLY offending plates slip through for some reason…

Then when the comment was dropped that's when I realised. I mean whoever does this car's MOT tests should have told the DVLA by now but I'm quite certain the owner knows what they're doing is illegal.
