I recall having to explain to NA colleagues, that just a vehicle having bumper stickers is rare enough here that I tend to spot any I see having them. When I was in Idaho, it felt like every 3rd car had some sort of bumper sticker, it was crazy.

Yeah that makes sense, I've always thought of bumper stickers to be more of an American practice. I find that in the odd chance that you do see one here, it's often something humorous.
For instance, I haven't seen an equivalent of the "Proud Parent of an Honors Student" sticker over here
