Moments before this photo was torrential downpour, the sort that gets you soaked through in 2 seconds (I was trying to get into my car when it hit!), the owners were sheltering inside until the rain eased when they went into the supermarket and I wandered over to get my pics

Last time I got caught in a downpour like that, was in Montenegro. It almost broke my camera  :(

I had that on the link below, my now 10-year-old 750D is not as well built as my now 20-year-old 350D my girlfriend was using the same day, after the 750D kept getting confused and malfunctioning on me I finally gave up but the 350D carried on faultlessly! And I've given it a hard life in those 20 years, been in rainforests, deserts, snow, rain, you name it! Had to clean sand particles from it and had it dripping water out of the battery compartment, never bothered it. If only the sensor was bigger, compared to the 750D the photo quality isn't as great but for ruggedness and reliability I choose the older 350D all day long! The old saying "they don't make 'em like they used to" is one I fimrly believe in with these cameras!  :D
