The quality isn't good enough to be able to tell what type of plate it is

If it was visible in the photo, I wouldn't have taken off the non-standard tag when I first saw it. When I have to check through 90 pages of uploads after 3 days, and almost every one has to be edited in some sort of way, it takes several hours; I simply don't have time nor the energy to be checking every single upload with a microscope. On top of that, there are still debates within the UK PM community over whether a plate that is otherwise correct except for having slightly raised lettering should be considered non-standard. Regardless, that doesn't apply here, because, from the photo, I believed this to be flat.

I'm not here to argue, just doing what I've been told is correct. I'm sorry if that creates tension between us

Quite clear that it's a 3d plate... what else can we say?

“Have to” - damn bro, don’t make it sound like being a Platesmania mod is a job that has been enforced upon you

Curators are also part of the moderation team here on Platesmania, and Olpy is one of them, so can't you trust one of your team members on a not so deep decision?

I'm sorry, but I'm going to have to agree with Xeins on this one, it doesn't look like a 3D plate from the photo that you posted. Remember that Platesmania automatically reduces the size of photos when you upload with a watermark.

Instead of attacking moderators who actually put a lot of their effort into keeping the site tidy and orderly, why don't you prove it is a 3D plate by putting a close-up photo of it in the comments.

Nobody else does it, that's why she "has to".
From this photo it looks like a regular flat plate to me, exactly the same as the generated informer.

I mean it not easier to tell it is a 3d plate or not from the photo

Curator role is not a privilege, it has to be earned. Olpy is close to losing his Curator rights if he won't respect the work of moderators...

I'd just apologize for quality of the photo at this point :pardon:
