I had no such luck getting Coca-Cola, but instead I'm sure they were handing out small drum thingies (for lack of a better description/word
).2012 Britain was a whole different time though, people were genuinely excited about the Olympics and there was always optimism in the air. 2021 Britain on the other hand, is just crap in comparison!

Life was so better then haha. I was so happy to see this as well - it's part of history after all. I remember the relay travelling through the little village where I lived but we decided to go into Cov to see it. I think they were travelling to Rugby School for some sort event due to it being the birthplace of Rugby or something
