Of course beyond the Lotus headlights it looks like a beefed up Exige using a variety of Dodge and custom parts. This Elise GT1 I like because it is all Lotus developed and the engine is out of the Esprit. Last I heard it now lives somewhere in America which is a shame. I had the opportunity to buy the car back when I took these photos but my bank balance was missing a lot of 000's

Some has money some has got the taste... I think you love GT1 more than who own the car now... Passion can't be bought and we are lucky to have it

Absolutely! I have not seen any photos of this car in America yet. I think the new owner does not enjoy the car, but keeps it locked away
If it was with me, then I would love the car and people can see it!
